The Antenatal Clinic at RPGMC Kangra provides comprehensive care for pregnant women throughout their pregnancy journey. The clinic is run by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and focuses on ensuring safe motherhood and healthy birth outcomes.
Services
- Early pregnancy registration and counselling
- Regular antenatal check-ups (weight, BP, fundal height, foetal heart rate)
- Ultrasound scans (dating scan, anomaly scan, growth scan)
- Laboratory investigations (blood group, Hb, sugar, thyroid, infection screening)
- Iron and folic acid supplementation
- Tetanus toxoid immunization
- High-risk pregnancy identification and management
- Diet and nutrition counselling
- Breastfeeding education
- Postnatal follow-up

High-Risk Pregnancy Clinic
A dedicated high-risk pregnancy clinic operates for mothers with conditions such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, multiple pregnancy, previous C-section, anaemia, thyroid disorders, and other medical complications. Referral to maternal-fetal medicine specialist is arranged as needed.
