Introduction
The Department of Neurology started on 5th July 2012. OPD services are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30am to 4pm. The department saw over 32,000 patients in 2023. It was the first department in Himachal Pradesh and neighbouring states to start a super-specialty course in Neurology. The department is involved in the Telestroke project of the Government of HP and has treated approximately 75 patients with thrombolytic therapy.
