Location

Pathology Block, 1st floor, adjacent to the main hospital building.

Specimen Submission

  • Biopsy specimens received in Pathology Block, Room 101
  • Cytology samples (FNAC / fluid) received in Cytopathology section
  • Frozen section requests: Contact pathology department at least 30 minutes prior
  • All specimens must be accompanied by a completed requisition form
  • Urgent / emergency specimens clearly marked as "STAT"

Report Timelines

Routine histopathology: 5–7 working days
Frozen section: Within 30 minutes
Cytopathology (FNAC / Pap): 3–5 working days
Immunohistochemistry: 7–10 working days
