Introduction
The Department of Biochemistry imparts the knowledge of various biochemical reactions of different metabolic pathways in normal & pathological conditions at molecular level. The Departmental laboratories are equipped with latest fully automated instruments. Immulite-1000 (automatic chemiluminescent system) is operational for hormonal assays, cancer markers, diabetes profile, cardiac markers, etc. The Department is headed by Dr. R. S. Yadav and housed in Dr. B. C. Roy Para-Medical Block.
