About the Central Library

The Central Library at RPGMC is located in the heart of the campus, surrounded by hostel buildings, providing easy access to students and faculty. It is a fully air-conditioned facility designed to offer a peaceful and conducive atmosphere for reading and research.

• Journals: 1,396 bound back volumes of medical journals
• Digital Media: 400+ CD-ROMs of medical books
• E-Resources: Access to full-text national and international journals through ERMED Consortia

• Reading Rooms: Capacity for 270 readers with separate sections for boys, girls, and staff
• E-Library: 15 computer terminals with internet access
• Book Bank: Special facility for SC/ST category students
• Internet Access: Available in the e-library section
• Photocopy Services: Available within the library premises
• Open Access System: Readers can browse books directly from the shelves

Rules

• Entry is allowed only with valid identity cards
• Books/journals must be handled with care
• Overdue charges: ₹0.50 per day
• Reference books and single copies are not issued
• Lost books: price of complete set will be charged
• Silence must be maintained within the library premises
