Introduction
RPGMC Kangra has established visiting hours to ensure a healing environment for patients while allowing family members and attendants to visit their loved ones. Adherence to visiting hours helps in maintaining hygiene, security, and effective patient care.
Visiting Hours by Ward

| PICU | Only parents / guardians |
| Paediatric Ward | Only parents / guardians |
| Obstetrics Ward | Only spouse / one attendant |
| Emergency Ward | Limited — as per emergency physician policy |
General Guidelines
- Only two visitors per patient at a time
- Children below 12 years are not allowed in patient care areas
- Visitors must maintain silence and avoid crowding
- Mobile phones to be kept on silent mode
- No smoking / tobacco use on hospital premises
- Visitors with fever, cough, or infectious illness are advised not to visit
- Food and outside items not permitted unless approved by the treating team
Attendant Pass
One attendant pass is issued per patient (general wards). Attendants must wear the pass visibly at all times. Lost passes must be reported immediately to the ward nurse / security.
