Introduction

The Department of Ophthalmology was established in 1997. It is housed in the OPD block on the 2nd floor. The department has consultant cabins, resident cabins, rooms for refraction, perimetry, fundus fluorescein angiography, and laser treatment. It also has an Eye Bank and corneal transplantation facilities. The PG (MS) programme started in 2011 with 2 seats, enhanced to 4 seats in 2012.
