Introduction

The Department of Gastroenterology & Hepatology started functioning in October 2019 with a single faculty member (Dr. Swatantra Gupta). This sub-specialty of Medicine covers: Upper GI bleed, Peptic ulcer, Dyspepsia, IBD, Celiac disease, Pancreatitis, Ascites, Abdominal TB, Hepatitis, Cirrhosis, and other digestive and liver disorders.

Vision & Mission

Vision

Short term: ERCP, EUS, Capsule Endoscopy. Long term: Double balloon enteroscopy, Gastric balloon, Esophageal/Rectal manometry, Biofeedback, Gastroenterology Lab, Third space Endoscopy.
