Introduction
The Department of Pulmonary Medicine started in November 1997 with one faculty in General Medicine. It was established as a separate department on 16 November 2004. In 2005, it took over the Rai Bahadur Jodha Mal TB Sanatorium. The department treats both communicable (TB) and non-communicable (Lung Cancer, Asthma, COPD) lung diseases. It has a Bronchoscopy Suite with the latest Video Bronchoscope.
